“424 has to become and remain the fastest electric car in the world. PERRINN will not stop working on it until we accomplish our goals of setting a new lap record at the Nurburgring and ultimately of winning Le Mans 24h.”
A thoughtful approach:
The 424 electric hypercar is largely based on the LMP1 chassis designed by PERRINN, with the integration of an electric drivetrain inspired by Formula E technology.
The electric drivetrain consists of a high voltage lithium-ion battery located inside the main chassis and 3 electric motors (300kW each) driving front and rear wheels using 2 single speed transmissions.
Chassis made of high performance composite material
Mass: 1,000kg (500kg chassis & 500kg powertrain)
Electric motors: 3 Formula E motors (1x front, 2x rear) capable of 300kW each
Power: 800kW limited by the battery (300kW front max, 600kW rear max)
Active power distribution front to rear through corner (forward regen, rearwards mid corner for rotation, balanced on exit for traction)
Transmission: Four-Wheel-Drive, single speed
Battery energy: 50kWh
Acceleration: 0-62mph in 2.0sec
Top speed: 224mph (360kph)
Movable aerodynamics, DRS front and rear (pneumatic accumulators)
